AURA Assessment
Measuring and Managing Employee Stress
AURA is our proprietary scientifically validated assessment that measures employee stress and provides anonymised insight across teams and organisations — helping identify where attention is needed before problems escalate.
Leaders often ask:
Are our employees under too much stress?
Where are the hotspots?
Do our workforce have the resilience to navigate this change?
How can we track burnout risk through periods of organisational change?
How can we help employees recognise their stress and take early action?
How can we get deeper insight into employee stress levels beyond engagement surveys?
The AURA Burnout-Resilience Continuum
The validated framework underpinning the AURA assessment
Defining what stress looks like
Stress can affect people in many different ways, making it difficult to recognise and measure consistently.
Drawing on two years of research, occupational psychology and psychometric principles, Rachel developed the AURA Burnout-Resilience Continuum — a practical framework that defines the key psychological, emotional, behavioural, cognitive and physical indicators that emerge as unmanaged stress progresses towards burnout.
This provides a common language for understanding what stress looks like, helping individuals, teams and leaders recognise early warning signs and take early, targeted action before burnout develops.
AURA Stress Resilience Assessment
Providing actionable insights into employee stress
Employees complete the confidential online AURA Assessment, which measures employee stress using the indicators defined within the AURA Burnout–Resilience Continuum.
Each participant receives a personalised report showing their overall Stress Resilience Index, together with insight across five key dimensions where stress can have an impact. Practical, tailored guidance helps individuals recognise early warning signs and take proactive action.
At the organisational level, anonymised aggregated reporting highlights emerging stress hotspots and patterns in employees’ experiences, helping leaders identify priorities for attention and providing a platform for focused action planning.
Data can be analysed across teams, business units, countries or other organisational groupings, enabling organisations to identify localised issues rather than assuming the same workplace factors are driving stress everywhere. This supports more targeted interventions and meaningful organisational action.
Trusted by over 5,000 employees across organisations in 18+ countries.
The AURA Model and Reporting System turn complex stress data into clear, actionable insight.
